The 2017 Mazda 2 Zooms in with Fuel Efficiency and Latest Features

Slipping into the driver's seat of the Mazda 2 Midnight Edition is like fitting your hand in a comfortable glove.  The Mazda 2 is a subcompact/hatchback, and one of the six 2017 SkyActiv Collection, with outstanding classic design and modern functions.

Safety is utmost among its features, with the no-key start on-off button and door locks, easy push-button audio, communication and other panel display features, making it user-friendly to people on the go and leading an active lifestyle.

The 2017 Mazda 2 has both automatic and manual transmissions.  One can feel the SkyActiv feature revving up as it speeds on the highway.  No wonder, this small and economical vehicle won Car of the Year Award in Japan 2014-2015.

As I am both a city driver and an outdoor enthusiast, the Mazda 2 fits perfectly in my week day and weekend routine.  Dealing with city traffic is not a dreaded situation when driving a Mazda 2, and driving it out of town is such a breeze.  To top it all, fuel consumption is economical... around 6 liters/100 kilometers is good mileage for a mixed city and highway driving.

Not to be missed is the heads-up display speedometer, located on top of the dashboard meant to keep your eyes on the road while checking car speed.  This feature adds to the aesthetics of the interior, together with its leather seats with elegant red piping.

The 2017 Mazda 2 comes in 3 variants; Midnight Edition, Kabuki Edition and Crimson Edition.
