Globe MyBusiness Announce Winners of ProjectED, Showcases New Generation of Video Creators

Globe ProjectED Grand Winner: Team Reveuse of University of the East Caloocan with the executives of Globe MyBusiness, from L-R Debbie Obias, Michelle Tapia, Gil Genio, and Derrick Heng, during the ProjectEd Awards Night, held last Thursday, March 8, 2018 at the Maybank Performing Arts Auditorium, in Bonifacio Global City.


Globe MyBusiness recently held the much-awaited awards night of ProjectEd at the Maybank Performing Arts Auditorium in Bonifacio Global City.  The ProjectED is a nationwide video competition for high school students.


Today’s digital landscape affects how we learn, and it is only right that education makes the most of the video revolution. Globe’s ProjectEd proved that students recognize the immense power and potential of hopping aboard the video wagon, and education should definitely follow suit. 




For the contest, the themed-question is, "How is technology changing the way you learn today?" The answer is translated via a three-minute video using only their mobile phone. Globe received 90 entries, which went through a stringent deliberation process composed by esteemed pool of judges, which comprised of Globe leaders including Quark Henares of Globe Studios, as well as award-winning filmmakers Emerson Reyes and Keith Sicat.

During awards night, there was a viewing of the top 10 finalists that bested the many creative entries collected from 90 participating schools nationwide. Criteria for the top 10 and three Grand Winners include: 30% shareability on social media, 30% appropriateness, and 40% creativity. 

The Grand Winners are:




1st place: University of the East- Caloocan (Senior High School)

The Grand Winners received generous prizes: 

P50,000 cash and P50,000 education package for the school for the first place; 

P30,000 cash and P30,000 education package for the school for the second place; and 

P20,000 cash and P20,000 education package for the school for the third place.
